Politics, Joe Rogan, Trump, Kamala, Mainstream News: A Take

It's the same thing both ways: each side says we'll lose democracy if the other wins. This isn't about policy. It's not about the constitution. It's not even about which candidate you like better. It's about projected realities. You can believe you're a "free thinker" by choosing a certain side, but in actuality there's no such thing - our consciousnesses are intertwined, and only by cultivating a basic and grounded aloneness can you open the door to even the first glimpse of truth, which is that we live in a world of others all projecting their own realities. This is so common and so subtle no one actually sees it. Here's how to start seeing it: don't watch the news, don't watch podcasts, get off the internet, get off social media in particular, experience the world directly, every day, and see where "politics" exist there. That's a start.
